I didn't personally see it but Steve Foster, or maybe it was Teddy Maybank taking a leak into the pot plants in Coral's squash club is quite a strange thing to see from a professional footballer do..or maybe not. I was a member there then and heard about it the next day.

Not really strange but saw nicky forster and his dad fishing on the Marina, he said "i like to take him out fishing occasionaly when we get the chance", and was talking about Jake just after that England game he played in.

Popped into Virgin Store in Crawley to ask someone directions many years ago. Turns out the first person I encountered and disturbed from his CD searching was John Byrne. Took a step back !

I'm constantly intrigued by the number of threads on NSC that involve seeing a player out and about. In 45 years of watching the Albion, I've only once seen a player in town and that was when Jimmy Case was in the urinal next to me after the QF win against Norwich. I quite often see Sussex cricketers around the place but why do I never see Albion?

Dan Harding in Warehouse in the mall.
Dean Wilkins in the children's hospital ward.
Dick Knight in his kitchen most nights (until he moved). No, I wasn't stalking him, I lived down the road in HH.

I once bumped into Nicky Rust in NEXT, Brighton. It was the afternoon before an evening match back in the 90's.

And almost ran over BZ on the Victoria Ind Est, Burgess Hill whilst he was out walking his dog. He should pay more attention while crossing the road.

Mathew Edwards in the William Hill near the Goldstone. Nothing strange about that you may say - Apart from, it was 1.40pm on a Saturday afternoon & he was playing.

Charlie Oatway junior in the A & E department at Worthing Hospital several years ago. Mrs O was accompanying little Charlie after he had ridden his bike into a wall.

Darren Freeman & Gary Hart having lunch in Donatella's one day. Nothing earth shattering about that I guess.

Curiously, when I type 'Donatella', my spellchecker suggest 'Salmonella' as an alternative. Should we read anything into this?......
