I think you underestimate the desire of channels that don't usually have Man Utd, to have Man Utd.

You make a very good point, I completely forgot the ITV clause that they must show a Man Utd game at any given opportunity.

Strangely enough, without seeing your choices, I went for exactly the same. 4 Big Prem playing away at lower opp and Man U, because it's Man U.

If Norwich had played at Luton, I would have gone for that one instead of Man U.

Oldham v Liverpool and Southend/Brentford (esp Brentford) v Chelsea are typical ESPN picks. ITV would want something more big league so Man U, Man C, Spurs and Arsenal would be in their minds.
