honey badger, tasmanian devil, wolverine and mongoose are POUND FOR POUND the hardest creatures in this group by far....should be the top 4, probably won't be

I like the selection of Ryan Harley to represent Humanity. I don't think that will help in the quest for votes.

Depends how you are defining "hard" but I would have to go with the African Elephant. I know that they aren't in the habit of picking a fight or maiming stuff but nothing and nobody takes them on. Everything in the animal kingdom gives them a wide berth. Respect.

Cape Buffalo for me.

It's known locally in Africa as 'The Black Death' or 'Widow maker' - no other animal in africa kills as many hunters. That's right, hunters. Not unsuspecting victims but people hunting it. With guns. The cape buffalo kills them.

It has an excellent memory and an unforgiving and extremely aggresive nature. It will attack people who it has a grudge against years after the initial event. It will ambush those hunting it. Ambush! It's happy to take on Lions, crocs and any other animal that poses a threat to itself. And it's an altruist...if it hears a distress call from a member of its herd it'll steam into battle, even if not directly related to it.

On top of all that...it's a herbivore! It's an aggressive killer happy to fight all that africa has to offer...and it's just because they're up for a ruck. They don't need the kills for food. THAT is hard!

Vote CAPE BUFFALO!

For those who may be unaware, or new to this, the honey badger:
- CASTRATES buffalo
- is impervious to snake venom
- fucks with HORNET nests to get honey
- when awoken by a WHOLE PRIDE OF LIONS will wake up, turn around and just go mental at them until they f*** off.

The ultimate in hardness. Vote HB.

That's me sold.

Say what you want about some cute little honey bunny squabling amongst it's peers at the bottom of the food chain. BUT, any animal that can turn the tables on a human hunter, armed to the teeth, whose sole intention is to shove it's head on a wall is not only FUCKMENTAL but also HARD. That's fighting up the food chain. A Featherweight taking on the undisputed KING, super-heavyweight, of the food chain, and winning. You can just imagine the honey bunny saying "Oooooo I just shoved my paw in a hornet's nest to get some honey. Look how hard I am." Only for the Cape Buffalo to riposte "f*** off, I just killed a hunter - i've got his head on the wall over there."

VOTE CAPE BUFFALO!

Cape Buffao because it just doesn't give a shit about anything or anyone.

The Elephant may have got it as one has recently killed 17 people and EATEN one of them but that was an Indian Elephant.

this is quite a weak group actually

if only the wolverine and the tasmanian devil had the PR machine of the honey badger behind them, they'd be unstoppable

unfortunately they'll never be more than a "potential banana skin" in this contest

Relax, there's enough H.B fan boys to ensure he'll stroll through the group. You not going to give any backing to your nomination...The Cape Buffalo?

It's a shame that more of the people who champion and second an animal in the nomination stage don't argue their case in the actual competition.
