Show your generosity this Christmas! (Please!)

People of NSC,

I have decided to try and give a little bit back this Christmas and have decided to raise money to help a charity called Restless Development continue there work in Africa, specifically Uganda.

With this in mind I have set up a justgiving page and will be doing LIVE BELOW THE LINE for 5 days next week, this is where I will have to live on less than £1 per day for food and drink. Obviously I am not doing this just for fun and am looking for some sponsorship!

Restless development works on empowering young people throughout the world in 3 core area's; civic participation, livelihoods and employment and sexual and reproductive health.

Any money I raise will be put towards gaining more volunteers for the charity, and opening new bases in different countries with the aim of reaching as many young people as possible.

I know times are tough but any donations would be greatly appreciated! (After all it is Christmas!)

Thanks, good cause but at this time of year I look to Britain's own needy and unhappy and help out here. Plus, you can easily survive on a pound a day for five days if you have to. Plus the title of the charity Restless Developement, doesn't really scan. No, quite out of the question but best of British old thing.

I think you have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas is about eating as much as you find physically possible, getting completely rat-arsed at every opportunity and hopefully getting some shit-hot presents. Still, it`s up to you, each to his own and all that, but I for one will be doing my best to keep the true spirit of Christmas alive.
