So, 3-0 down from the first leg...

...can we win the second leg 4-0?

Or perhaps a Southampton style 3-0 reverse to leave things all square for this season.

I was thinking how similar it was to Saints away, red card, dodgy penalties, inept performance from us, beaten by the better side who were top of the league......

It was quite similar to the Southampton games - a sending off, two penalties (although those at Southampton were MUCH more dodgy), a centre forward scoring with his head and from the spot. Not enough fight or belief from the Albion. So, AEA will get Murray sent off in the return match, and JFC and Sparrow will be back to RIP them apart.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
1 defeat in 8, sure against our rivals, but man this board is depressing at the moment !

Yep - very reminiscent of that game. Frustrating, didn't feel like a level playing field, but still not good enough on the day.

FFS Bozza do we really need ANOTHER Palace thread on the Big Board?

It's a long way in the future; we could have new players by then; Zaha could have left, or one of their best three players could be injured. I have no doubt thought it'll be A LOT less one sided, possibly with us coming out on top.

They'll probably beat us again as Poyet doesn't care about it.

It was vaguely reminiscent of Saints last season, with the pens but we didn't play 85 odd minutes with ten men and no defenders on the bench. At Southampton we were already one down and just about to go two down when Tanno was sent off.
I wouldn't back Gus to outsmart Holloway and therefore its a comfortable win for Palace across both legs for me.

Let's hope at the Amex no one gets sent off and Brighton have their full strength defence in place.
We'll have to see what happens in January on the transfers front.

In answer to Ginger Beer Man, Parish has said Zaha is staying. In my opinion he was showboating a bit too much on Saturday. He needs to not do so many fancy tricks.
