For those of those of you going on Saturday with kids or those who would rather be in the ground early for safety the away turnstiles are opening at 12:30pm, this is not a joke I work on the turnstiles and was informed of this yesterday.

For the record, NO I CAN'T LET ANYONE IN FOR FREE!!!

Well cheers for that, but I don't think I'm speaking out of turn in suggesting that your average Albion punter would like to spend as little time as humanly possible in there. If we could all get in at five to three and leave at 5pm, we would, I assure you. We certainly have no wish to be spending our money there.

But thanks for thinking of us (or CPFC2010's bar takings).

Have you actually BEEN in the Arthur Waite? Why would anyone spend any more time than necessary in there? It is f***ing dire.

I think everyone is more interested in what time the gates open after the game.

Say for a second that this nonsense about us being kept in for an hour and a half after the game is true (it isn't) and you got to Selhurst for 12.30pm. You could be in there for 6 hours. People would be hanging from the rafters.

That is the only good bit of news I have heard so far about Saturday

Just expand on this - both trains will call at Three Bridges and Haywards Heath (for the East Coast), 1 train will then be fast to Brighton, with the other one all stations.

We wont be kept in for 90 minutes, especially if the trains will be going within an hour of FT.

Anyone taking their kids to Selhurst Park ought to be arrested on suspicion of Child Neglect! The very thought of subjecting my two young lads to that pus oozing necropoliptic seeping arsehole of a stadium makes me feel physically nauseous. I will be decontaminating myself with a power shower on full blast and plenty of coal tar soap on Saturday Evening followed by a period of self imposed quarantine all day Sunday in case I have become infected with some form of South London Ebola virus.

Or even better, when you return to the south coast, bathe in the ( shit infested) soothing sea water.
Good old Sussex by the Cess pit .

On many occassions, I agree it's in need of much refurbishment but so are most other areas of the stadium! Well enjoy an uncomfortable afternoon at the game :p

it's the English Channel, it's your sea too. anyway it's too cold not to mention a horror story about someone down in Cornwall who got seaweed wrapped around their bollocks while swimming and then lost the ability to think afterwards
