It never ceases to amaze me just how blissfully unaware people are of the fact that everything you post on Twitter is completely public and therefore you are subject to exactly the same laws with regard to incitement of hatred, harassment and racist or homophobic abuse.

It's not like there aren't countless high profile examples of people getting in very serious trouble for not thinking before tweeting.
