I think Wiggins will win, but I personally believe it should be Ennis. As the poster-girl for the Olympics, she did a huge amount [outside of her own individual medal achievements] to promote sport this year.
Personally I think that is what SPotY is all about (or at least should be). Just winning things in your sport should be reward enough, doing things to either promote your sport or sport in general doesn't get recognised with medals or trophies and this is what this particular award should be for.

It should be (and will be) Bradley Wiggins. I'm somewhat gutted for Andy Murray, as ANY other year the win at the US Open would've been the UK sporting highlight of the year.
