Alan Pardew has told his Newcastle United players to forget all about the club's new sponsorship deal with Wonga.com.

He's told them to just get on the pitch and give it 4107%. :lolol:

There must a catch somewhere lol.
Maybe being Musilm is the catch ??? I could become religious for a cheap mortgage then that way if its a sin pretending to be mulim I will be forgiven because im Muslim, win win

i understand you pay back a larger amount than the current market rate to make up the difference. ie you on a £200k property the bank buys it for you, and you pay the bank £300k for it over 300 installments. i believe long term you might do better of but at the beginning the payments would be about the same.

back on the wonga/muslim thing, why is there an assumption that muslims have to observe sharia law. i've known a fair few muslims and i dont think any of them pay attention to sharia.

My experience as a mortgage broker is that they are Muslims when it suits.

They conveniently have a prayer meeting when you are chasing them for something, but are happy to fully embrace the current mortgage deals on offer from Santander, Halifax etc.
