I think it'll be more like a home game today, I don't imagine us hearing too much from the 'Wall (not until they put their third one in).

But as for TGE, nah I just don't buy it.
It was so perfect against Burnley, but every other time since it just seems pretty hollow.

It's a song that should be sung when we have our backs against the wall, some donkey in the North stand tried to start it whilst we were 3 up against Sheffield Wednesday and got told to shut up ! It didn't really feel right to sing it whilst meandering to a decent victory.

Thing is the great escape chant always goes well with bha regarding our history. having been to the darkest depths we are now well on our way to where we should be. I remember singing it loud and clear back in 96, so why not now!! For that reason count me in!!!

I see what your saying, but you can't distinguish between the 2.

It's not the title that I can't get on with.
Or the lack of words making it a one size fitz hall.

For me that game, was the game the Amex became ours (forgive the poetic license there).
TGE is instrumental (forgive the pun) in that, backs to the wall 9 players, and nearly nicking it, fighting spirit.

As said 3-0 v Weds and strolling, or starting the match v Millwall doesn't have the same resonance.

You're right, it will be all wall of noise, you only had to listen to the Watford coverage to know that.
We won't be short of songs, and hopefully TGE won't be 'needed'.

Went drinking with around 15 wall fans in brighton 2-weeks ago (mate at work is a millwall fan ) and they have no issues with us. Think peeps might be making it sound worse than it actually is. WHU is worse for aggro at Upton park

Agree with this. Should only be sung when backs against the wall. Great v Burnley but dont like it unless were in trouble.
