surrenden
Harley, Dicker, Sparrow, Hoskins, Vincelot

(possibly Painter, Ankergren/Brez)

Any others ? That is a lot of championship wages there.

How many do you think we can loan out ?

I'm not convinced Dicker is surplus. Poyet seems to rate him. Painter I'm not sure of either, we don't have any other recognised left back (Calderon can play there, but it's not his natural position).

The rest are and apparently have been told. We can spare a keeper, but someone on here last night said neither Ankergren or Brezovan are going anywhere, which I think is a waste for them. Other than those, I think it's the DS players like Barker, Oatway, Dickenson etc that could go out on loan.

No disrespect but...

Maybe we should all let Mr Bloom and co. worry about wages etc?

a) there is nothing we can do
b) honestly the amount of time given over to wage anxiety...

yes i understand the club once was hauled over the coals financially but fretting doesn't help - unless we all think it is time to march on bloom's house and demand he stop making signings that improve the quality of the club? the shit!

Agree with most but would still like to see hoskins given a chance

Agree if we consider Barnes as a forward then we 4 forwards Dobbie, CMS, Barnes and Hoskins all 4 offer something different, I would prefer to see Hoskins given a go ahead of Toby as I think he is still work in progress.

Definitely this. Hoskins looked promising before his injury. The poor guy looks really unlucky with injuries, and should be given a chance.

Painter is of no further use to us - simply too slow and a liability. He was exposed in the last few games of our League 1 champions season, and proved totally lacking last year.

Need to keep one reserve keeper. Two would appear to be excessive with loans available.

I am still not convinced about letting Vincelot go, as he is useful cover in areas where we are short of cover.

Vincelot and Sparrow will surely go out on loan. I am genuinely surprised neither attracted a permanent deal
Hoskins is a busted flush as far as Gus is concerned. Agree or disagree the way he reacted to go to Sheffield Utd clearly wound the boss up and I just don't see a way back. Had he been fit I suspect the Blades would have had him back in the window but they are now sorted.
Can't see Painter going as he is the main man as specialist cover for Bridge
Brez maybe. Gus has said he is happy to have three keepers but if an offer came in....................?
Don't think Dicker will go anywhere but maybe a short term loan for Harley to get him/keep him match fit

Vincelot, Sparrow and Harley seem the only surplus ones to me.

Maybe one of Brez or Ankers.

But I do think it is good to save a little on the wages and move them on. Every 1K a week saved can be added into the budget in January.

agree with all of this especially vincelot and hoskins - only issue no naturally left footed cover at lb.

You need a squad. I reckon we will still see quite a lot of Dicker this season, perhaps less so Harley.

Still don't get the Hoskins love-in.

Yes, very much this!

The amount of hand-wringing, wailing, gnashing of teeth and pant wetting that goes on here about players wages leads me to conclude that quite a few posters believe TB seeks his financial advice from NSC.
