The Bennett comparison is interesting isn't it.

In my opinion Elliot was a better player than Noone and yet we only managed to get 1.5m for him from a premiership outfit.

Despite this, there's speculation on here that we'll get more for Noone than we did for Bennett and from a club that is also in the championship. Not so sure myself.

Gus would only let him go if he thought he could cope with losing him - I think - do he's not going to be haggling dramatically over price.

If we do get the high price that some people on here are saying we will get then I think it shows that Malky is mad.
I'm guessing that Bennett was unproven in the second division, whereas Nooney has just had a season there. That has bumped Noone's transfer fee up a bit. What is Bennett worth now? £3m?

Will be disappointed if Noone goes, but if by some miracle Bennett comes back then I would take that everyday of the week.

Number of games played:

Vicente: 11 + 6 sub = 17
Noone: 18 + 15 = 33
Lua Lua: 11 + 16 = 27
Buckley: 16 + 13 = 29

So, not a huge amount in it between Buckley / Lua Lua & Noone, although Noone played a few more. Shows how good Buckley is then :)

Cardiff is a fine city. will Noone want to live there though? It seems to me like he's having the time of his life in Brighton. We'll see, as I've already said I'll be sad to see him go. He's a character :)

He comes from Liverpool! Would he live there? You bet your ass!

Will miss him. Great character to have. An entertainer.

Bennett played 32 times for Norwich in Prem , did well and is only 23.

By page 13 we will be back on Raul

Good point.

I think you're right there on Bennett. The thing with both players though is their respective appearance rates are not that high. I guess that can equally suppress the price.

Vicente: 17 + unused as sub 2 = 19
Noone: 33 + 2 = 35
Lua Lua: 27 + 6 = 33
Buckley: 29 + 0 = 29

Only two more appearances in the match day squad than lualua, and only 6 more than Buckley, both of whom are, according to this thread, way more injury prone.

I'd be disappointed if Nooney went, and the Mrs would be heartbroken. This is going to be his season, he's already said he wasn't 100% fit for most of last season, and he's performed well so far. He's a lovely lad, great attitude and he loves it here. I'd want upwards of whats being asked for him, taking into account his age and his talent.

What the differences in terms of no of goals and assists between our 4 wingers?

Think Buckley must have more goals but Noone more assists?

Should have said those appearances were for LEAGUE only.
