Club IT Systems Pass Mystery Shopper Test With Flying Colours

Call me Doubting Thomas Hark, Preston Park, but up to now, I've never quite trusted the club's IT Systems far enough to put any money on my card. Had to go up to the Amex today to buy a few goodies so thought I'd finally give it a spin. And the verdict is: Mighty Impressive!

At the Amex this morning in quick succession I:

- Loaded up my ST with some money at the shop
- Bought some goodies with my ST at the shop
- Got 10% cashback applied to my ST at the shop
- got my Prescott-autographed ST swapped for a replacement ST at the ticket office (for no charge, in about three seconds flat - cheers guys, much appreciated!)
- bought a brie and bacon panini and a pint of Kronie at Dick's Bar using the 10% cashback on my replacement ST

All of it seamless, all of it pretty damn slick! It's never going to be a pleasure for a Scotsman to be spending money, but that was about as good as it gets. Tremendous stuff!

And, yes, yes it IS a Cool Story Bro...

Have you checked that you have not been charged twice, or three times, for anything?

Just because I'm not quite clear on your second step, it's worth pointing out that you can buy with another method (cash, card, whatever) and give them your season ticket and they'll still give you the cash back. Well this was the case last season anyway, I haven't tried this season, may have changed. Handy, as you don't need to top up the card just to spend again.

Just because I'm not quite clear on your second step, it's worth pointing out that you can buy with another method (cash, card, whatever) and give them your season ticket and they'll still give you the cash back. Well this was the case last season anyway, I haven't tried this season, may have changed. Handy, as you don't need to top up the card just to spend again.
