Reserve fixtures, including Amex games

For those interested, the club has now put the reserve and youth team fixtures on the official site. It looks like 3 reserve (development squad) games will be played at the Amex: Swansea on Monday Dec 3 at 1pm; Ipswich on Monday January 28 (time to be confirmed); and Millwall on Monday April 8 at 1pm.

Bit confused by 1st game 20th WEDNESDAY August away to Cardiff, given there hasn't been any match report I guess this is actually on 22nd? Would make more sense given then the players who don't play tommorrow (today now!) night can play this game then.

The U18s played Cardiff on Saturday. The U21s were originally scheduled to play Cardiff on Monday night but this was changed to Wedenesday night.

Good stuff - should attract a bit more of a crowd, but also seems really important footballing-wise to me. If and when these guys step up to the first team, they need to feel like the Amex is their home ground.

I thought there were rumours these would be played on Sunday lunchtimes etc.. Not sure how many people will be able to attend a 1pm Monday kick-off. Most people at work and kids at school.

Was planning on taking the grandkids along to one of these for their first Amex experience. Can't now.
