West Ham had as good a squad last season and only just scraped it via the play offs. That was with a decent manager. The crowd is also agressive toward the management and we have seen ourselves what that can lead too.

Blackburn are going for it with the players they are signing. As has been proved so many times over the years, having 11 highly skilled individuals counts for naff all if they don't gel as a team. A decent Manager may have half a chance of getting a team to gel. As Steve Kean isn't a decent manager and also a Pratt, I suspect they won't do as well as could be expected with the players they have.

The Parachute payments are in place to pay existing high wages while clubs alter there wage structure to adapt to playing in this division , not to go out and increase the wage bill .When will the FA grow some bollocks and stop clubs doing this

Strong looking midfield.....both good PL players IMO and would expect Blackburn to challenge on the back of that midfield. Rememeber, Ethuhu started the Europa League final in 2010, and Jol wanted Murphy to sign on for another contract

yeah, but you're not the manager. Kean is, so i think they are bit stuffed. he couldnt get the players motivated to stay up, dont see how he'll motivate them now, and he certainly isnt a master tactician. my only surprise is Murphy and Etuhu have gone there, they must be picking up a big wage and desperate to relocate to the North East.

In a mildly superior league. He hasn't made too many signings in the last few windows, clearly these are players he wants and at Championship level they should all be very good and accomplished signings. It remains to be seen, but in theory it should go well.
