Assuming he plays, our boys have to go after him, he's a loose cannon, getatable, and could easily destroy us.

Who will be the player to finally send him over the edge?

I can't make up my mind, either Cole or Terry.
I think Cole may well 'ice the cake'.

Lescott. He'll tap his ankles early. Or he'll rub a little bit of grass, the kind Balotelli is allergic to, on the back of his neck during the pre-match handshakes.

As much as I can visualise it, I can't place him and Carroll near enough to each other.

I can see Carroll booting Super Mario straight over the crossbar.

Which Italy player with get Rooney sent off.

Assuming he plays, our bambinos have to go after him, he's a loose cannon, getatable, and could easily destroy us.

Who will be the player to finally send him over the edge?

I can't make up my mind, either Maggio or Barzagli.

Terry would be the obvious candidate. He's snide, but not very bright. If it happens, they'll both go. Then Terry will switch into 'Wot me Guv? ??? ' denial mode, despite the blatant TV evidence showing him to be once again full of shit.

Good thread - this is the battle, can we get Balotelli sent off and keep Rooney on the pitch? Wait until something goes against Balotelli, and he's pissed off, then wind him up.

I reckon it'll be the kit man. He'll swap Mario's training bib with one with the armholes sewn up, and it'll get him so wound up he'll get a red card within 3 minutes.

Balotelli doesn't need help............................................

............. well not to get sent off anyway. Screws up all on his own.

Of course he may well get himself sent off in a Supermario stylee before the game even starts by setting off firecrackers during the national anthems

Scott Parker owes him one for committing common assault by stamping on his head last season. Therefore I will say Parker will be running a risk.

I know it's a light-hearted thread, but this tourney has been of a friendly variety tbh. When you think there are only five games to go, there hasn't been any flare-ups (on the pitch!), senseless argy-bargy, or multi-combatant fisticuffs. I'm probably putting a jinx on the remainder of games, but for once, I think it's been honest football of fair quality...

Oh la de da

I think the tournament has been reffed well, mainly due to a lot of 'victims' being left of the floor while, play has been waved on.

Anyway back to the question in hand.
(Although I didn't proof read my thread if a mod can change the title I'd appreciate it)

Scott Parker is a good shout.
He puts his head where the ball is.
Therefore it stands to reason he'll put his head where Balotelli's foot is.

Super Wayne! isn't the player Mario is, right now.
I think the Italians will be more frightened of our retro Italian discipline, and Stevie G, than Waynedinio.
