As far as I can see anyone who was a STH at Withdean should always have an extra point allowance to those that did not.

I find it hard to argue against that, ST holders who had a season ticket for the last 5 years at Withdean should be able to jump the queue imo. We are talking about a max of 4k I would think

I would not benefit from this btw.

Did anyone miss out on any high profile games last season for not having enough points? There were tickets for sale on Nsc for some of the popular games.
Not being a season ticket holder last season, I missed out on the Liverpool Cup match. But since then, they seem to be dropping the points requirements in an extra step or two so those with a few points get a better chance. STH for the coming season, though, so no problem getting tickets for home cup matches as I'll be offered my own seat before it goes on general sale. So now the decision over whether to go to any away matches (if I can afford it on top of the monthly DD for my season ticket). The Palace away fixture springs to mind as the obvious first choice. It was a bad day for me this season, so I didn't try - but I presume that's the one we're most likely to have a few fans missing out on?

I managed 320 loyalty points last season, paid on a match by match basis,I've got a ST this season for which I'll be given 1000, I get to keep last seasons points and I've earn't them all and its all money well spent on watching the Albion home and away

Yep, and like me it's worth f*** all. Your never get an away cup ticket or palace away ticket on your account as there is 18000 ish. People in the que ahead of you. A season ticket gets u all the home games . But they might as well sack off the system now I have 380 points 1000 for my new season ticket. But when the system will be invoked its going to start around 2800 points and never get low enough to buy one.

It's piss poorly thought out. Although I can see why those that have their withdean season and Amex season last year like it. Don't rub all our noses in by giving us stupid inconsequential loyalty points that will never ever get you anything. you might as well just say if you don't have a season ticket from the previous two f*** off.

It should be run on a season by season basis. With 1000 for a season, 250 for a previous years season as per it started. With maybe an additional percentage for those earned during the previous season. Deep down everyone knows this how it should be.

I am most annoyed that the disparity between season tickets a game by game was so big. How I went to all games I did and ended with less that a season ticket holder is a joke.

and why the club see fit to reward those people for their loyalty and financial commitment? Deep down, I think that is pretty sensible.

I do agree with your point that someone buying home tickets for all the home games (23x20=460) should be closer to 1000 for a STH. Perhaps 500 would be enough for the STH?

There would still be 18000 people ahead of non-STH's in the queue though. You can't avoid that.

Keep the point accumulated last season and give previous ST holders 50/100 points. That way they get slightly higher priority than the new ST holders but not so much where new ST holders can't overtake them.

This, maybe also give STHs who actually attend home games 5 points for each game, will encourage those to actually go to games and not just sit at home.

Surely as I committed more financially than ST holders (paying 30+ a game + aways.) I don't see why there is a 600+ point differential. This cannot still be explained satisfactorily. It's still to bigger gap.

It can be avoided by giving me a 100-200 point gap I can make up going to away games. As many ST holders don't bother turning up to home games I still don't believe the system is just. It only rewards those who brought ST at with dean and the first year at the Amex. That's it.

Strictly on the loyal points point of view I almost want us to go down before going up. Giving me half a chance to catch up when the plastics jack it in.

Whilst committing yourself you did not pay all up front or let them know they were guaranteed the revenue by direct debit

So far just one person has missed out on a Liverpool ticket (which were also sold on Nsc before the game) so why all the bleating about loyalty points?

Exactly, everyone could get a ticket for every away game if they tried hard enough

Ah, that's a different thread though. That goes under "how many tickets have missed out on due to wanky loyalty points system."

My answer would be none. Got a colleague to get me saints away Liverpool away and palace away tickets. Ended up with about 6 or 7 palace away tickets.

My grip is the system rewards two seasons and two seasons only. If you did not buy an ST in those two seasons loyalty points are a waste of time. It's just very short sighted I feel.
