Just like you choose to ignore that we'd been in this league 3 times in the not so distant past, so really not that many new grounds for most. Add in all the teams that have been in L1 with us and your point is bollocks really. In fact there were two new grounds for me this season, next season there will also be two.

Well done on not saying deluded in your post though. Must have been difficult for you.
Yep next season will be our 5th season in this league in what will be 11 years.I get the feeling they think we haven't been in this league for decades:)

I think smoke damaged their brains in the Great Fire of Croydon. What I find most interesting that they bend their opinion to try and somehow get one up on us, but change what matters post by post.

"We took four points off you this season."
"We've got a better record between us in history."
"That's all in the past."
"Okay, this season then. We finished above you."
"First time in ages. 35 years top two divisions."
"Thought history didn't matter?"
"Whatever, we've got better fans than you."
"We've got more fans than you."
"Plastics."
"96% of whom renewed this season plus 3,000 more. Where are the missing 8,000 from your time in the Prem?"
"Recession innit. Where were your plastics at Withdean?"
"It couldn't fit 27k, surprisingly."
"At least we would've sold it out."
"You didn't even sell out your 700 to us, and you don't sell out your stadium any weeks."
"Bullshit, we're more loyal than you."
"So how come we travel in bigger numbers than you?"
"Well...err...you're homosexual."

Yeah I'm "sure" that's true. If we have nearly 5,000 plastics waiting in the wings then our support base can't be as bad as some of you make out! :D

How could I forget your support at Liverpool? What a day that was...

well...1,300 fans at away games on average this season means that an extra 4,700 turned up for a one-off game. How would you describe them then?

And you boast of having 5,000 plastics turning up for a once every decade game at Old Trafford. That's not much of a business model. You'd be better off following Brighton's lead. We have an extra 12,000 plastics turning up every game last season at home and even more every game next season too. And we have a waiting list of more plastics who can't get enough of the Albion.

All you need is a state of the art stadium, attractive football and a manager who doesn't have the personality of a bedroom slipper and you'll be a half-decent prospect to go and watch.

Over the years, like lots of you, i've done numerous grounds, but theres no reason to keep going back to the same ground, year after year.
Since your last visit to the Championship was 2005/6, maybe for some of you, it was a first visit ?

Some away games are a better experience and different atmosphere like Peterborough (last 6 visits) where we invariably win or Leeds United (last 5 visits) where the result can be win , lose or draw.

The fact is they weren't CPFC plastics but MUFC plastics taking the opportunity to watch a live game at Old Trafford.

On that basis, did we have an extra 2,000 plastics for Peterborough away as well?

Given the size of both our support in general, our away totals are pretty good I'd say. Next season I'm sure we'll both have slightly lesser totals given the amount of Northern Monkeys in the division :(

tbh it probably did help us a bit that we haven't been going to the same grounds year in year out, even if none of them were new grounds for us, that's a very poor attempted dig.

Of course it did, you forget how bad the away end is at Forest if you haven't played there for a few seasons and the temptation of Hooters before the game helps alleviate that memory.

Oh come on. At least have the balls to admit you ballsed up. It was very retarded and thus tautologically moronic and extremely troll-like. Even when trying to wriggle out you come across as a berk.

You sir come across as somebody who takes an internet messageboard a little bit too seriously.
Never really understood the troll thing myself before, but seeing how touchy and hysterical some people get I am beginning to now.
