No idea - wasn't posting it as fact, merely wondering where they'd got the idea from.

Edit: Millwall season ticket holder I work with says they have a decent record for accuracy. They announced Maik Taylor's signing two days before the club did, for example.

It does seem a slightly strange one for them to carry. I mean, would NSC rumour Millwall resigning an ex-player. I can only assume they were in for Lynch and they now believe they are missing out on him.

Personally, I'd be delighted to have him back. Always looked a cracking player to me, and I think history proved him right about Adams and the Hawk, even if his immaturity at the time meant he handled it badly.

I remember Gus saying a while back that CB'S who are left footed are hard to come by. I think he said this when we were trying to sign that kid from Falkirk.

I would love to see Lynch back.

That's exactly what they were saying. Wage demands, apparently, both at Forest and at Millwall, being the problem. Not sure if that would make us any more likely candidates, to be honest.

I saw him in the Black Lion and Lola Lo last Friday, unfortunately I can't remember anything we spoke about!

At left back? Jees, I wasn't thinking of him playing there, he was distinctly average as a left back, but as a cb, Lynch looked a very good player. Also, I remember him being quite comfortable on the ball, which would obviously appeal to Gus.

...if this rumour is anywhere near true, how much would Forest want for him?

Contract's running down apparently. Though it'd doubtless be more than we sold him for, I'm not sure they'd be able to demand too much for him. Even assuming he were available, and we were in for him, would he want to come back here? Wasn't there something of a falling out? Or was that just with the manager?

I would welcome him back with open arms. He has improved significantly since leaving us and was outstanding this season for Forest. I wonder if this rumour is anywhere near true, how much would Forest want for him?

He signed a 3 year contract with Forest in July 2009 so thats due to expire in a couple of months. He's 24 now so there would be no fee due if he decides to leave Forest.

I would love him back as a Centre back, he suffered like El Abd being forced into postions he wasnt very good in but could do a job. Poor Kid got shoved out at left back and slated by the fans but a centre back he was clearly a very good player.

Adams was then brought in and started Colin Hawkins infront of him for some 'experience' good one Mickey. Lynch had a moan up about it and Adams told him to do one.

At left back definately. Lynch was always a horrid left back but a very gifted centre back. It would be a great signing simply because if we get him back, then he would fit into out plans by Gus' reckoning.

Lynch was a great prospect and if he's matured a bit and continued to improve then he would be a great addition.
