Not from income generated by Crystal Palace, unless you sell the 10 million rated:D Zaha.

So in short, living beyond your means = CHEATING.

Don't forget they got £250K for their semi final against Cardiff and a couple of tv appearances which would be in the region of 100K each. We got nearly as much for the 5th round of the FA cup and tv appearances. Of course they'll get squillions for Zaha ha ha. He's the best in the whole country don't you know?

You're on our forum saying you are sick of us saying stuff you don't like? Riiggghhht. There's a simple answer to that.
Now show me a post that says we are miles ahead of you. We've been having a laugh about being 8 points ahead and 8 places above you, but no one has posted that you are miles behind us.

As i said, the cup run has hindered our league form. But we've still had a decent season, wins over you, Millwall and the Mancs plus a major cup semi final.

Right now we have our noses about EIGHT places in front, with at least treble the income this season when you take into account merchandise and matchday sales. Add in 6000 odd more seats next season and the training ground which will lead to the academy, you should struggle to maintain our pace IMO

With that logic then teams like Blackpool or Burnley wouldn't of made the Prem in the last few years. Football is won on the pitch not off it.

So with 12000ish actual real people turning up to your home games where is the money coming from to finance your summer spending?

There own pocket i guess. They have said in the past that they are willing to spend if it's at the right time for the club and for value.

Keyboard warrior? f*** me you're a precious one. If you don't want to get a bit of very mild abuse back I suggest you log out.

And where will Mr Parish be sourcing these funds from?

I agree, think things are level between us. Just sick of you lot saying that we are now miles behind you!All i see is that you have a better stadium, we have a better academy and everything else is pretty much level.
And more fans, and a better team, and manager, and chairman...oh better prospects of promotion.

And better pies. Especially better pies.

Keep living in the past. If he was any good now he wouldn't be at Brighton would he?! Like Edgar Davids etc when we signed him.

Zaha is better than anything you have, hence us turning down £7 million bids from the Prem.

By your own logic, Zahaha wouldn't be playing for you, as we are a better side (see: League table) than you.

Okay, let just deal in FACTS, then.

Higher league position
Higher atttendances
Better ground
Bigger away following
Bigger income / turnover

If the Rumbelows Cup is a MAJOR cup, please list the MINOR cups you participate in (clue: it's the SMALLEST cup you are eligible to play in!)

Surrey Senior Cup?

They do not take part in the Surrey Senior Cup or at least didn't when I was on Surrey FA as they had an exemption on the condition that they played the winners at their ground in aid of Surrey County FA Benevolent fund at the start of each season. The reason they gave was that the matches hindered their progress in the league because they didn't have sufficient players to play in that competition without using a number of first team squad.

Walcott, Bale and the Ox. Top 4 players. Yes, i agree, Zaha is in that bracket. The beauty with him signing a new long term contract is that we get to keep him for a couple more seasons (and he gets better every passing month) or we get a nice wedge that will buy us 5 or 6 quality players. Win, win.

sorry but he has only got worse and worse this season.

No, no. You're not allowed to say that about Wilfred (the next Messi) Zaha. He will go on to become the best player in the known universe, eclipsing anything done by all the greats of the game.

he will have sell on clauses written into his contract that palace will reap the benefit from for years, at least they better have because at the moment they are CHEATING.

Living beyond their meagre means, which will get worse in the next few years as CPFC2010 begin to realise that selhurst is beyond repair, the fans are deserting the scum and they will not adhere to the FFP.
