Some name's have been chucked about, good Championship player's and Prem. But what sort of pull do you think we will have in close season. Can we punch above our growing weight given the stadium and Gus?

I think we clearly can - Vicente was happy to join us and I think that the manager, stadium and general location are all a pull to players.

Well with our brilliant new stadium, new state of the art training facilities on the horizon, our club and its future in the very safe hands of Mr T Bloom, usually mostly superb fans and last but not least Gus & Co developing a squad playing a very attractive style of football whats not to like? An exceedingly attractive package in Sussex by the Sea!

Somewhere near Reading...
Gus is clearly a huge aid in making signings. He is probably solely responsible for bringing in Vicente ( considering Leicester offered higher wages...). I have seen opposition fans, while discussing a possible transfer that we and them are in for, complain grudgingly that "they have poyet"

On top of all those mentioned.
In the future I think Brighton (and Gatwick) it's self is an added bonus when making SUMMER signings from the continent.

Leicester offered more money, we had Gus.
They've got the M1 we have as near as you're going to get to a Cafe culture and a proper airport.

and this season we've established ourselves as a second flight team. It only gets rosier.

Meopham, Kent.
I think the reality is that we are in a much stronger position than any of us can ever remember.

Established ourselves as a top half Championship side this season.
Prospects on the up.
Cracking stadium, getting good crowds.
Gus is well respected, and players will want to come and play for him.
The business we are doing at the Amex means we can compete with any non-parachute payment team, financially.

Top tier of this division are bound to be the teams who have just come down from the Prem as people always expect them to be highly likely to bounce straight back, but I think we are definitely the next tier of teams for players.

Yes, Great place (not Middlesborough, Barnsley, Coventry) , great stadium that's mostly full (Ditto previous) Financially secure, Chairman who's a fan, ambitious

Worry a bit about the "established" comments though ... it's a transient and fluid business ... just ask Leeds, Sheffields, Charlton, Stains etc etc ... but yes, subject to financial limitations we should be able to attract anyone within reason

I agree with most of the posts so far.
Whilst Brighton is a cool place and Sussex a lovely county for some players we are just too far south. Wasn't this the issue with Kevin Phillips turning us down and Harper not wanting to extend his loan?
