Sorry both in my book are completely unaceptable. Do people remember where we have come from?

We are not going to make the play off position to get the premiership this season, I said the Premiership. But we are going to finish in the top half of the championship this season, yes the top half. Seems like this is not even good enough anymore.

Lets remember what a bad run is shall we, a bad run is being relegated to League 2, nearly going out of the football league, nearly losing your club, having your ground sold, and then having to travel to Gillingham for your home games and returning to play in a shitty atheltics stadium.

Think about where we have come from and get behind the bloody team and the manager.

That is all.

Where have we come from?

Do you mean anthropologically. As in we are all descended from apes.

Or more spiritually. We have developed spiritually well this season I feel.

Perhaps you are referring to our old location at the Withdean. We used to come from there after all.

I fully agree but I feel your comments are wasted on too many here.

Sorry I am completely pissed off tonight. I am pissed off with the reaction from some of our supporters towards the players and Gus. Booing the team off at half time is completely wrong. It was bloody embarrasing. Would not surprise me if Gus fucks off after that.

Why is it wrong.

Awful first half on the back of a 1-0 loss to Reading (which we should have won) and a 6-0 walloping by West Ham.

I'll have a moan up if I deem it necessary but you won't ever catch me booing my own team. Can't stop other people though. 20,000 people aren't all gonna agree with what's being played out in front of them especially the ones that aren't happy unless we're cruising every game & winning 3 or 4 nil every time. That's football

CONGRATULATIONS you are the winner for being the 100th person to bring up 'remember where we have come from' line within a month, pease tell us how will you celebrate this milestone?

By remembering where we have come from I would have thought.

Maybe a remembrance ceremony.

Or a ceremony of remembrance.

Then we can remember that too.

What is your problem! At the begining of the season nobody expected us to do too much and hoped for mid table safety. Much like 1977/78. However, we got ourselves into a great position to have a real good shot at getting in the top flight, much like in 1977/78. Seems to me too many of you are too scared of going up and spend to much time looking in your rear view mirror rather than the road ahead. Once the dust settles I'm sure 99.9% will still see this as a very successful season but that won't change the fact that we were very close and many will think it is the constant tinkering with the team and some odd selections that cost us where as in 77/78 it was the cheating scum from along the coast and the wrong side of north london that cost. Maybe for us 2012/13 will end up like 1978/79 or maybe we might suffer the fate that befell Forest this season.
Poyet can throw his toys out of the pram but at the end of the day we pay our money to be entertained and follow the team and if the players put in an abject performance like in the first half then they can probably expect to be booed. Who knows, it may have been the booing that galvanised them, who can say.

As for Poyet telling people not to come if they don't like it, I very much suspect that many of those fans have been fans longer than Poyet has been manager and will be fans long after he has gone. There will of course be the number of fans who think he can do no wrong. More fool them. Poyet is still a young manager learning his trade and does make mistakes. Seems he still has a lot to learn about PR.

Agree with that Drew.

I love Gus and think he will be great in the future.

But he does need to grow up a bit IMO

I just think the team deserved a little more support from us in the first half that's all.
Because I will say again, nobody expected us to be this high in the league and I just find it sad that after a fantastic season at The Amex, to hear the boos at half time really put a downer on things.

Well f*** off then if he takes the childish attitude that your suggesting , and don't keep saying remember where we have come from , I'll tell you where glory days from 76 to 83 four years in the top division an FA cup final , 2 play off finals a massive fan base. people harp on about 97 to 2011 misery Too much it wasn't that miserable anyway it was a bloody good roller coaster of a ride get over it we're here now it's 2012 massive club now with potential and obviously high expectations . Seagulls seagulls

The support was there.

The North kept going all match wrong.

Booing doesn't indicate the team isn't. being supported.

19000 plus people means they are being supported.
