Used to love these, havent seen them in a couple of years
Anyone remember the chocolate covered pretzels? The white ones were amazing.
There used to be a shop in Lewes called Ron's that sold vintage confectionery. I think it was just old stock, though.
Wagon Wheels, Curly Whirly, Walnut Whip
Do they still sell chocolate intended to look like cigarettes?
Umm..black jacks and fruit salads...could get 8 for one old penny ....ah those were the days with 3penny bits and sixpences...could get a fair old whack of sweets with them....hmm...jamboree bags?
Anyone else remember Hedgehog flavored crisps?
Brannigans Beef and Mustard are lush, I think you can still get them though.
This!
& Kunzle cakes
Fruit Loops (Still available in US)
Crisps with all the salt in a little blue bag.
you still get wagon wheels and walnut whips
Was it that my hands were small and grateful for those huge walnut whips filled with slimey marshmallow that I could get my tongue into, or have those revival immitations been shrunk to tiny nibbles?
cant remember the name, but there was a choc bar with coconut, caramel and cherries..?
Brannigans, they sell those in Off Licences. I love lamb and mint. The crunch on those things...a true crisp.
i know, only m&s seems to do them now and they're tiny
Old Jamaica, I think. Rum and raisin. Not seen it for a while but there are copies.
abosutely incredable on reflection, I also remember in the 70's a disgusting tasting confection that looked (and tasted) like pubic hair that was served up in a tobacco style pouch
Really miss Golden Wonder Sausage n tomato flavour crisps..
They are still lovely though xx
Brannigans beef and mustard crisps are the daddy of all crisps
