At first I didn't believe Evra was abused, there wasn't proof. But when Suarez started kicking people and acting like a knob when he came back from suspension, I changed my mind...Suarez is a pig.

I can't see why you would support Suarez in this - I hate Man u with a passion but Dalgleish and Suarez have managed to get a majority of people on Evra's side in this. I think Evra was ready to shake hands but Suarez was not going to in any event. Amazingly Fergie manages to come out good in this - normally he avoids saying anything about his players but even after the rant at Suarez and Liverpool he didn't avoid the issue and DID say Evra should not have wound the crowd up at the end.

And Dalgleish is sinking really low in many peoples eyes - I can't see the Liverpool owners being pleased at this and unless Liverpool do really well in the run in I expect him to step down as soon as a quiet moment comes along.

It is contentious and I respect your view, but my hatred of everything Manure (and I hate them more than Palace, but that would be a whole new thread) makes me feel they deserve all they get. Their manager has now become bigger than the FA and that concerns me.

Suarez is a total C*nt, end of story. I cannot believe there are people on here supporting him.
Not only for his behaviour today, but also kicking scott parker last week, biting an opponent in the past, and I'll never forget his dirty cheating antics in the world cup by handballing on the line which meant Ghana unfairly went out. He is a f*cking waste of space and I will be shouting abuse at him at the top of my voice on sunday. Luckily I'm in the front row too so he will hear exactly what I think of him. dodododododododo......rascist bastard, dodododododododododododdodododo....rascist bastard.

Just for saying 'oh, he shouldn't have done that' after the bullshit he was spewing - he still looks like a complete arsehole. What about Evra causing the trouble in the tunnel? All Suarez did (twat or not) was refuse to shake someone's hand. Whoopy.

And Dalgleish is sinking really low in many peoples eyes
Somehow he didn't know they hadn't shaken hands. He was the only person in the country that didn't know. He's as bad as Fergie.

Pretty much sums it up. Evra didn't cover himself in glory either, but Suarez's actions were indefensible (as were Dalglish's comments).

I woke up this morning and turned the radio on and had a revelation ! I listened to Alan Green and for once agreed with him totally.

Scrap the handshakes, they are pointless anyway. as he says, after shaking hands within 30 seconds players are kicking lumps out of each other or diving for free kicks or to get an opponent sent off. People shake hands with people they want to shake hands with and should not be forced. It's a bit like sending Christmas Cards, we all have someone who is not on our list.
It's also a bit rich of Fergie to tell Liverpool what to do with their own player too, If Utd lose a game to Arsenal, for instance, how long and meaningful is the handshake he gives Wenger ? its barely even a touch and with no eye contact.

Frankly, Fergie has been allowed to get away with too much for too long and ultimately, thinks he is bigger than the game.

I hope our fans give Suarez a great reception next week.

Unbelievable, some of our "fans" these days! Bet you were one of those who wet yourself when Gerrard came on at our place!

Why not see if you can get a ticket in the Kop as you will not be welcome in our end. We will be 100% supporting the Albion and not the opposition!

I have been a victim of a false accusation of racism from a bully like Evra and the dogs all gang up on the word of the bully. It never goes away. But I would not want to have anything to do with them. If I was to shake hands the bully it would give him licence to carry on bullying. One of the bully's ticks is to pretend to be the aggrieved party.

I would not want to shake hands with him, but neither would I want to turn my back (get stabbed). If Evra is a genuine bully he will repeat his trangressions. Bullies can be very dangerous though. The best bet is to wait for him to repeat himself. It is nothing to do with race but conflicting personalities.

If he was racist; why is he not before the courts?
Turned out to be wrong but it was a good shout.

Ferdinand should have gone off in the first half for a tackle, when last defender, just as bad as the two for which pens were given for Manure last week

Rascim has got nothing to do with personalities - it has a lot to do with the experiences of growing up and also the lack of experiences when growing up. Evra has a history of complaining about racism - that doesn't make him a bully or even a liar. If you take the Chelsea ground staff incident Tevez said the ground staff insulted Evra and backed him up - if what Gus implied about being black in SA is true it must have been bad for Tevez to remark on it.

Evras Dad Is a diplomat perhaps he has grown up not taking the shit racist comments that are just a bit of banter? Standing up for yourself doesn't make you wrong or a bully and it doesn't mean you are pretending to be aggrieved either.

Yeah whatever. If you can't appreciate a good footballer when they play you dont deserve to be in a football stadium let alone decide which end proper fans should sit in.

For the record I did give Gerrard a polite round of applause when he came on. I didn't moan at anybody that didn't applaud him but people that moan about it are in the main absolute per-ricks.

Hmmm, I hate Man Ure and would be overjoyed if they were to fold and never be heard of again BUT I thought Ferdinands tackle was fair.
