Vokes didnt do much when he came on as a sub against us earlier in the season, was it for Burnley but is a good target man who I think would complement CMS.

Vokes was mentioned a couple of times on here in the past as a decent bet. I saw him play in his bournemouth days and he was very impressive - mobile, strong, decent in the air and certainly knew where the net was. I suppose it's not worked out great in the top flight for him but then you have to be pretty special to make an impact in the Premier league... Would certainly like to see this one happen unless we can muster up the money for a bigger name.

He's had 4 loan periods in 2011, scored goals for each of them apart from Brizzle where he played one game.

At 22 he might be worth a punt depending on £. At least we know he scores in the Championship.

must admit had hoped to of seen a couple of new players for saturdays game. Way GP been talking the last few weeks thought he would of moved swiftly. Obviously had nothing lined up which is a shame.

Sure will come good but the sooner the better really.
