The Christmas Tree at Brighton Railway station is shit.

What a f***ing disgrace. About 4 branches on it, pound shop decorations and clunking great metal barriers all around it with shoddy posters saying "welcome to Brighton" on it. Shit.

Meopham, Kent.
I'm sure those who put the effort into organising it are grateful to hear you like it.

In fairness, it is a little disappointing.

Its funny how something so simple has made me nearly spit me cheese and marmite sandwich out. Cracked me up!

f*** it. Not going to the Burnley game by train now because I was looking forward to seeing the tree. We all were.

Ha, probably not worth getting too worked up I'm sure but it really is a sorry looking affair, it's almost like a joke.

Christmas Tree Newhaven

This was last years tree when visiting Newhaven last Christmas. I must say how proud the locals were of this truly magnificent tree!? This really put me in the festive spirit!

Over there
Not having seen said tree I've got to say that Brightons Christmas decorations for many years have been a sorry affair. It's almost as if the council can't be bothered because Brighton is far too "upmarket" and "trendy" for all those gaudy and frankly vulgar lights.

The lego Xmas Tree at St Pancras International is very underwhelming to say the least.

The tree outside Worthing Town Hall is awful too, a straggly unlit, undecorated Leylandii.....every expense spared.

I wish I could get away with one like that. The missus insists on a 7ft monster though, takes up half the room.

hahahahahahahah - brought tears to the eyes!

Of course, if it was an impressive, lavishly decorated tree, there would be a thread on here complaining about the money wasted in a recession.

Great Britain is never happier than when it's f***ing moaning.
