You not going to be a millionaire but you will do a lot better with the smaller prizes, for example 3 number of nat lotto pays a tenner and the odds are 327/1 on the health lotto it's 214/1 and you win £50, 4 numbers nat lotto around £60 with odds of 14,387 /1 health lotto, 9,416 /1 and you win £500, 5 numbers nat lotto odds of 3,236,995 /1 and you win, £1,500 (big shit) health lotto 2,118,760 /1 and you win 100 grand

Perming 6 numbers from 5 on the health lottery is a good idea but it breaks the health lottery rules
according to the email i recieved from them.

I always wonder what I'd do about all the begging letters if I won the lottery.

I think I'd keep sending them if I'm honest.

It has been said that the average person who buys a lottery ticket first thing on Monday morning is 2000 times more likely to die before 7pm the following Saturday evening than they are to actually win the Jackpot.

Anyone who's happy picking up 10-1 on three numbers, which is roughly a 55-1 chance, would be better off picking a random horse at 8-1 and another at 7-1 and putting them in a double. At least if they both win you'll get paid at the correct odds.

As for the health lottery, why would anyone would want to help line Richard Desmond's pockets?

Hard to see how it break any rules,all you doing is 6 individual lines and structuring the numbers in way that would yield you multi lines wins if you hit the right numbers,so are they saying you not allow to play more than one line per person? iv'e checked the t&c and not mention of that being the case.

What did the email say?


You would play the lines like this

1)1-2-3-4-5

2)1-2-3-4-6

3)1-2-3-5-6

4)1-2-4-5-6

5)1-3-4-5-6

6)2-3-4-5-6


Its well worth doing this week as the jackpot is doubled to £200,000

In the same way people line the pockets the murdoch's, but millions do, i for one do not and never will.

Email the health lottery people and they will tell you the same as they told me that it is not permitted to perm numbers.

I would guess that what they mean is it's not possible to perm the numbers through their system, but nothing stops you working out the individual lines yourself as i have indicated above.

When it was first launched the top prize was getting on for £15m but now it barely tops £6m.

Pedantic maybe, but I don't see that this is an issue. If the jackpot is cut in half, that's presumably because half as many people are playing - which in turn means the average winner splits the jackpot with half as many people so ends up with the same amount of winnings in the bank.

The total jackpot may be lower - but what are the stats for how much moolah the average jackpot winner actually takes home now compared to the start?

because if you get 3 numbers correct winning150 quid ,the non winning numbers would be almost identical.

we will have to disagree on this one,the way i see it for example is if i do six lines and i pay my £1 for each line and 1-2-3 are my favourite numbers so i want to have them in all my lines 6 lines that can not be against the rules, nothing in the rules that says you can't have the same numbers more than once in different lines.

In fact i just remembered a fella from Uckfield did his numbers twice by accident,all 5 numbers came up and he won twice, so if it was against the rules they would not have paid him twice.

First double winner takes home £200,000

Luck struck twice for Paul Nelson, 44 from Uckfield who has become the first winner of The Health Lottery to win the top prize of £100,000 with 2 separate tickets! Paul purchased both of his tickets from his local Tesco, Bell Farm Road in Uckfield on 2 consecutive days using playcards. “I spent £5 altogether on The Health Lottery last week. I’d forgotten I had already played the numbers so ended up playing them again the next day. I can’t believe my luck!”

Paul found out he had won on Sunday night when he asked in a local store for the numbers from the draw on 5th November. He was amazed to discover that he had matched all 5 numbers on both of his tickets. He had selected the numbers at random but repeated one of his lines on both playcards. Paul then waited until Monday morning to tell his partner once he had called the helpline to confirm. He now plans to propose to his partner of four years Corinne, 24, “I have tried once before but I did not have a ring so I am to have to get one now.”

Still shocked from discovering he had won Paul hasn’t decided what to do with his £200k as yet. “I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the money yet but I think we'll go on a nice holiday first” he said.

Following his good fortune, Paul will continue playing The Health Lottery. “I spent £5 on Health Lottery tickets for the draw. I won £50 a few weeks ago for matching 3 numbers so thought I’d keep playing. The playcard is a great reminder” he said. “I'll definitely keep playing The Health Lottery”.

It still asks the question why the emailed to say i could not perm numbers

What i suggest you do is email them back and ask if thats the case how did you payout Paul Nelson,from Uckfield twice as he clearly permed his numbers as he had 2 lines with exactly the same 5 numbers,if it's found to be a mistake and they ask Paul Nelson,from Uckfield for £100,000 back leave the country as i guess he will be tracking you down to stuff his laptop right up your jacksy.(best case scenario)

I believe just about every thing you say is probably correct true,but i have no faith in lottery people
they will probably say there decision is final
