The Championship.
I got pulled to the side by a copper for telling a Palace fan to " f*** off " as they were throwing coins onto the platform after the game and he shoved a camera in my face and asked for all my details and shit, if I get a banning for that then quite frankly that's a joke. He said I wouldn't though..

You are now known as a 'risk' supporter.

You will get pulled alot more now.

Maybe a civil for a season or 2, section 5 swearing and being abusive in public, which could cause concern for members of the public.

You have now been added to the ever growing football database my friend. Expect problems if you ever try to go abroad to watch England.

Police using a camera to video fans that 'look the wrong sort' when they're doing nothing wrong is disgraceful. When the boot is on the other foot though to take mobile phone recordings of them they get pissed off. Can't have it both ways can you?

The CCTV footage will also be pored over by the Met looking for "faces" in the crowd.

Found some stats on the Home office website for the Albion:

1. As of Nov 19th 2010 we have 11 Banning Orders in place
- One arrest at home matches
- 10 arrested at away matches
- 10 of these for Violence or public disorder and 1 for Alcohol related offences

2. Last season only one person was banned

The ob really messed up the palace game. My boy asked a policeman after the final whistle "what you doing with the palace fans?" the reply was "were keeping them in for 20 mins" we then proceeded out of the west stand thinking all would be well but we ended up in the middle of about 25 mouthy palace fans singing "Brighton take it up the bum etc". Is it ok for the ob to lie? It's niave to think the two sets of supporters can mix trouble free imo as both clubs have a small element of trouble makers. Another incident involved a friend of mine for 25 years who is Albion through and through NOT a trouble maker at all, he asked a copper "why did you let them out with us?" the reply was fuckoff otherwise you'll be nicked! Tho ob lost it, simple! I think they are trying to ban innocent people to make themselves look better. I bet quite a few of the people arrested were first time offenders, and the reason for this is that many "non hooligans" were confronted by palace fans and had no option other than to defend themselves.....This means that NON Albion hooligans will receive banning orders and treated like criminals because of police incompetence. I hope they have learnt from that game and hopefully we won't see anymore scenes like that at the Amex.

Overheard one of the OB at Falmer station saying to another fan 'We wanted to keep thhe Palace fans in but the club would not do it'. Guess this is either because they didn't want any more damage done inside the ground or they are overplaying their love-in with away fans! f*** the pictures of their players, video clips of their games, catering and beer to suit their tastes - have it grey and grim and as unwelcoming as possible! Incidentally in view of the damage to the seats I think they should replace the whole of the away section with ordinary hard plastic seats - visually it would not look any different, keep the comfy seats for people who will respect them i.e. the home fans.

Really? So you can be banned without the right to defend yourself, without evidence being reviewed, and for that 'good riddance', guilty or innocent?

Well you would have to be proven guilty. But all I was saying is that it isn't a worry if you haven't done anything wrong.
