Venue: Amex Stadium
Competition: League Cup
Kick off: 19.45

Team News:

Gus Poyet is expected to make several changes to Saturday's dramatic last gasp victory over Doncaster with Craig Mackail-Smith away on international duty with Scotland and Casper Ankergren rested. Two-goal hero Will Buckley is expected to start as will Peter Brezovan in goal. Other new faces expected to start include Romain Vincelot and Will Hoskins (fitness permitting)

Gillingham enter the game with confidence following a 1-0 home win over Cheltenham at the weekend. Luke Rooney will miss the game following his sending off on Saturday, whilst Dennis Oli is hopeful he will recover from a virus.

I was at this one.....they had their keeper sent off and one of the outfield players went in goal....we still lost the shootout :lolol:

Blimey I remember that. Quite amusing when their goalie went off. Less amusing when the replacement played a blinder.

I fancy the good mood currently in the camp is gonig to ensure a victory tonight, but as i said on Saturday, teams are going to love coming to the Amex and are going to rise to the occassion as Donny did in the 1st half, but in the end quality will shine through and i am gonig for a 2-0 win.

I tentatively predict that we will give Gills a proper shoeing tonight. They BLAGGED that 1-0 (the view, admittedly, of a Cheltenham mate of mine.) It will be great to see Hoskins play, and hopefully BAG. 4-0 Albion.
