Essex and Suffolk police are being drafted in to London. Whether that will have any bearing as to whether Sussex police will be needed, I have no idea.

Saturday could be interesting, if calm is not restored by then, with many thousands wanting to travel through the capital for Pride.

Sussex are providing air support. No manpower has gone in. Surrey and Kent would go in first, surely. We don't neighbour London.

Kent went in on the first night, I just got told Sussex had gone in might been told wrong was a mate from the met
