I think Gus liked what he saw on the pitch, but it was off the pitch that felt he was not suitable.

Why else, after bringing forward talks with Loic & his agent, from Sat to Fri night and it had been reported he was v keen on Damour after his performance, 2 days later, he's "not suitable" ?

So a total guess based on no facts whatsoever. It could be for any number of reasons, and I'm pretty sure that even Gus would struggle to gauge whether a player was a problem off the pitch from one discussion. I would say far more likely that after seeing Loic play he saw that he didn't offer much different to the type of role that Bridcutt and Vincelot are here for, but lets make out its based on the poor blokes off field behavior?

And he's not always been the most reliable. Has a squad for Portugal been announced? Because I've seen nothing on the official site.
