Comparing our current squad with the squad we had over the course of last season.

Out:
Whing
Battipiedi
Bennett
Baz
LuaLua
Hart
Murray
Holroyd
Sandaza
Kishishev
Wood

In:
Hoskins
Buckley
Makail-Smith
Bergkamp
Vincelot

As well as that, we have LuaLua with six months to run with us, when we can offer him a new contract. Navarro with no contract, but with a chance to bounce back from his injury. Smith with a chance to find his way back into the squad after he started last season so excitingly. And Taricco, who might be slow, but is pretty savvy. Then there is the possibility of Damour, who looks extremely exciting.

It's strange to think about how we had so many players last season who were squad players with little hope of getting into the first team, and now almost every one is in contention.

Long may it continue!

Why include lualua in the out section and not the in section? If not in the in section because he's on loan, then he shouldn't be in the out section because it was a loan last year, too. There's also he two youngsters (Sampayo? and someone?) that joined us.

So to add the final touches 1) A fleet footed but experienced centre half and 2) A midfield playmaker with experience at this level.

Ins: Daniel East (Wolves, free)Kazenga Lua Lua (Newcastle, loan to perm deal)Romain Vincelot (Dagenham & Redbridge, £100k), Will Hoskins (Bristol Rovers, undisclosed), Will Buckley (Watford, £1m), Craig Mackail-Smith (Peterborough United, undisclosed), Roland Bergkamp (Excelsior, undisclosed), Anton Rogers (Chelsea, free), Ben Sampayo (Chelsea, free)

Very happy with these signings i love how we singing development players still eg Rodgers looks very good, not seen Sampayo or East the later is a 18 year goalkeeper signed today.
Buckley you can tell has promise but needs to get more of a end product.
Mackell Smith wow all i gotta say about him
Lua Lua - my dream signing of summer, soo happy we got him, personally i think he is better than Bennett (just) i mainly say that because of his speed and how easy beats a man.
Vincelot - sounds like be a very good squad player who can play central defence, full back and midfield (as showed last year at dagenham getting 11 goals)
Hoskins - i think this guy could be a big hit this year - just something about the bloke that to me looks a winner.
Bergkamp - makes sense i like these signings as sometimes pays off big time and if it doesnt didnt cost us much at all
