Rod Stewart at Carrow Road on 8th June. Wife's a big fan and I took her for her birthday. It was quite funny as he was introduced by Paul Lambert, my wife had been drinking and asked who he was. I said he was the Norwich City manager, and she stood up and shouted: "BOOOOOOO! LEAVE OUR PLAYERS ALONE YOU BASTARD!" He didn't hear her but the people nearby did ...

Take That Progrees Tour in Manchester 12 days ago.
The most amazing show that i have ever seen. There is so much going on that you could go again and see many different things. Afterwards I had to Youtube the Robbie entrance a few times just to see where he came from on the wire. I would defy anyone not to be impressed - even if you don't like them, the show is full of dance (even with ballet!), visual effects and pyrotechnics.

One for Uncle Spielberg - Aha last summer in Austria.

Maybe I shouldn't admit it, but I really enjoyed it.

Went to see Glasvegas whilst i was in Seattle a couple of weeks back. If americans don't understand cheryl cole they stand no chance with them.

Sent from Windows Phone 7 using Board Express

going to see them in a small Perth venue within the next month - did they do much off the awesome first album or was it mainly just promoting the new rather dull one?

Jebediah two Fridays ago touring their exceptional recent Kosciuszko album but also playing heaps of their old classics from 10 years ago - not sure if anyone on here will know much of the Jebs (although there's enough of you in Australia to have been exposed to their partiucular take on "indie rock"). A truly awesome homecoming gig at the wonderful Astor Theatre where they serve Corona in cans (something I've nair seen elsewhere)....

come to think of it, I've been unfortunate enough to watch some real dross in the last 10 years - Daniel Bedingfield, Will young, Daniel O Donnell,Westlife (twice!)
On the plus side, I've managed to see UB40, Prodigy,Zero 7, Feeder,Kings Of Leon so not all bad

Half Man Half Biscuit at Shepherds Bush on Friday. HMHB were their usual witty selves (Bass player was introduced as "the only man ever to be thrown out of the Eden Project") but the Empire is a pig when they fill the floor that much and the sound engineer needed shooting, grumble, moan, Guinness £4.55 a pint..
