A friend of mine is getting married and needs a DJ.

80s music is what they are after.

Anyway first quote was £300 for 8-12pm does this sound about right ?

rip off....if someone cannot get a mate to queue up a few playlists on an ipod and needs to PAY someone else to do it then there is a serious issue going on.

When I left Brighton 2 years ago, I was charging around £250 for weddings. You can get cheaper than that but low price does often mean lower quality. I've PM'd you a couple of numbers of guys I know are good that will probably quote lower than £300 but are good at 80s stuff.

About £250 upwards is right, go for recommendations though. Never failed with Sussex Disco though
