When FIFA said 'Do this or we'll ban you', what the Bosnians should have understood by that was 'Hand us a shitload of cash in a bin liner and we'll forget the whole business'.

I thought that was a pre-requisite for any dealings with FIFA, and as such they really should have known better - you know ... it's implied, and enforced through the law of precedent.

All manner of corruption, favouritism and conflicting interest is knowingly ignored by FIFA but a body does something transparent, open and with zero harm to anyone and they get suspended. It's a funny old game as they say.
