On sale online at £25 each, they won't be £23 as MK have designated it as a top Grade A game. Premium prices all round.

Right, I've spoken to MK Dons ticket office again.

The tickets available on the gate will be in corner and will be £23 compared to the £25 charged for behind the goal and sold via the Albion ticket office.

I didn't go last year so can't verify this but she also said it is the same area in terms of access and moving around so the reality may well be that everyone sits where they want to when they get in - as per most away games. Of course if the numbers are threatening to reach capacity, the stewards may try to make people sit in their designated seats.

Agreed. However there was nothing riding on it last season, totally different this season.

I do dislike MK as a club, nice ground for the most part, but the whole place reeks of artificial, plastic commercialism. It's not a football stadium, it's a multi-functional community arena which cares as much about getting JLS, the X Factor or Dancing On Ice in town as it does for football.

They have a higher than average ratio of utter twunts to normal fans, because they have no history or culture of supporting a proper team, only a foam-hand-waving, goal-music-playing, day-tripping "experience", as well as spending most matches in their 80% empty arena being abused by supporters of real football clubs.

They haven't even got the decency to just call themselves Milton Keynes: instead they cling on to the "Dons" suffix, trying to maintain the pretence that they are a legitimate entity, rather than lazily stealing a team from a different town. They employ stewards who consider beach balls and inflatable bananas a threat to civilised society (no fun at OUR club please, ladies and gentlemen). And they have a chairman who looks like the Child Catcher.

Vile club.

The tickets will have gone back by then as they will be needed for POTG , if the ticket office still has them this morning you could pay for a ticket and arrange to pick it up from the stadium when you get there. Also if you POTG you might not be allowed to move across to behind the goal as those corner side tickets are a couple of quid cheaper.

Surely MK must be breaking some kind of rule if they're charging more for tickets bought in advance than on the day?

It might only be a couple of quid, but it can't be right, particularly if they weren't telling people that was the case?

And I never normally get involved in debates about stewards, as it tends to be the same old moans every week, but honestly, MKs last year were the most petty, humourless bunch of arsehats I've ever dealt with at a football ground, and that includes the old ones they used to have at Brentford a few years ago.

I don't understand why it would be cheaper in the corner, I seem to remember that the view is just as good if not better sitting high up in the corner

Its cheaper behind the goal is it not? That's what i was led to believe, my tickets from the club shop are for the corner which are £2 more than the matchday price.

Gotta agree with all of this! If you want a bit of culture, though, get there early and go to the Bletchley Park museum. It's only about a mile away.

This (I think), they certainly sold the corner ones in advance last time.
