As I seem to be taking some probably deserved stick I thought I would start a thread so that I can direct it in one place.

I had you down as three one winners before the game and said as much to my fellow orient supporting son. Well done and enjoy your season. February will give us a chance to right this wrong. I think these three points ought to mean that you won't face the drop...

Twatty, you don't sound anywhere near gutted enough, I still reckon that you are now a closet Albion fan

The one thing I do admire is the fact you are a Leyton Orient Fan, you aren't a bandwagon fan which many people are, including Brighton fans with this recent bout of success which still could go either way, but you support your team in a way many people should, excluding the coming on NSC forums going on about how crap we are (which may be telling us your an Albion fan in denial)

But nah, you're alright really. But you have to admit it, Russell Slade is only really good for relegation battles, your team needs a manager who is determined to win. At least Cox seems to be playing well under orient.

And don't make us your 'rivals', thats what Southend did before they went down the gutter.

I have to say, Orient were the worst side I have seen all season at Withdean. And that includes us against Woking.

Considering they had two strikers with eleven goals each, McGleish plodded around fatly (I'm not sure that's actually a word but it works for me), barely touching the ball let alone getting close enough to the goal to consider a shot. Revell was the Revell we mostly remembered: running around like an eager but dim Golden Retriever chasing a stick in the park, never noticing that he's actually running in circles and getting nowhere fast.

The midfield aren't even worth mentioning, so little did they influence the game, and the defence were hilariously bad. I liked the number four the most: constantly shouting at the rest of the side when perhaps it might have been better for him to work out how to do his own job first. They were owned by Murray, and even by Wood.

My favourite of course was the goalkeeper: I was pleased to see his name on the teamsheet at the start of the game, as I fondly remember him letting in a soft effort at Brisbane Road in recent years (possibly from Nicky Forster?), and he certainly lived up to my expectations. Yes, he made a few fortunate "luck over judgement" saves with his feet, but his efforts to get on the end of crosses never stopped being entertaining, and that moment when he flapped that cross from Wood into the net under no pressure at all was just tremendous.

My only regret is that McGleish never emerged after half time (too embarrassed by his performance?), and thus we were denied the opportunity to enjoy his early substitution in person. But, you know, that's probably just greedy...

Fair play to Candles for coming on here to take the flak. I like him.

We have always wellcomed all comers to NSC, of course it is mainly a Brighton & Hove Albion message board, but history shows all comers have used the board, in my opinion it does no harm at all to have other football supporters on here, Candles does seem like a decent enough guy, as i think his opening thread shows.

Agreed Edna, they were absolutely pony. Crap in every department. The Albion on the other hand looked somewhat like the Albion before our little blip, slick passing and movement and making the opposition chase shadows. On that performance I would say Orient are very much relegation fodder.

I think it's bloody weird spending this much time on another teams fans forum rather than your own. Are you just banned from your own little forum?

I don't see the need for gloating, who honestly cares about Leyton Orient over any of the other teams of that ilk in this league, Yeovil, Walsall etc.
