Of course. It will be something like:

Priority group one block a
Priority group one block b
Priority group one block c...
Priority group two block a
Priority group two block b
Priority group two block c...

If only that was the case. I'm priority group two and have been offered Feb 3rd along with priority group 4.

Agree with Deadly, Pheonix, Hailsham. What happened to Fans United, in my opinion one of the proudest days in this clubs history. All of a sudden WE'RE splitting hairs. I'm not priority. Will try but willing to wait for season or two if can't get ST, there's always Radio Sussex. Good Luck to all , pretty sure there are plenty to go round, but lets not beat each other up over it

sounds like your not too bothered about getting a STH, those complaining have been waiting for years for this opportunity and are desperate to be treated fairly. As for all new stadia having fantastic views don't believe it - half way line middle tier is infinitely superior to front row corner flag at every stadium in the world.

Hey, hey, hey.
I didn't get a season ticket this year because I don't have much money and I wanted to make sure I could afford to get one at Falmer + train fares. To imply that the people who are complaining are the only people that have been waiting years for this opportunity is a f***ing insult tbh. I would be devastated if I couldn't get a ticket next season.
Either way, the club is doing what they're doing and they are trying to make it as fair as possible, being a total bitch about it doesn't help matters along.

I have rarely if ever been this incensed with the club. Sure, I get why they are doing the 'Big Sell' but I've sat in Withdean for years in awful weather watching awful football for what? To be utterly shafted by the club that I love, that's what. American Express Community Stadium, my arse. More like American Express Corporate Stadium.

When I eventually get to pick my ticket after those who have Priority 1 (deservedly so for sticking it out at Withdean for 10 years) and all of those classless gits who snaffle all of the 'friends' tickets from people they don't know, I am genuinely questioning buying a £500 ticket for the leftovers. I don't want to sit in the places nobody else wants to sit.

I love the Albion and I have pretty much supported them since birth (its been in my family since about 1910) and its been such a trial getting this far to finally get this magnificent stadium that I feel utterly cheated to be marginalised by the club. Because of my age and going to Uni, I wasn't able to buy a season ticket until 4 years ago but the moment I could afford one, I got one.

Don't get me wrong, its not entitlement I'm feeling. I don't think I deserve it above the Priority 1's, I think that people who earned their Priority 1 fully deserve it. Its the poxy 3 'friends' that gets me. Lets be honest, if there are, say 700 Priority 1's, thats a further 2,100 'friends' getting better seats than me and how many of them have sat in the pouring rain watching us draw 0-0 with Leyton Orient on Boxing Day? How many of them sat through Micky make mistake after mistake in his second coming and watching us lose 1-0 to Walsall AFTER they went down to 9 men? (That's just a few).

I can't even bare looking at the Argus at the moment and I am very glad there is a break between games because this whole thing has made me sick.

Anyway, rant over for now.

Timba, I'm not bothered to the point where I want to insult other fans of the club. I observed many years ago that even the most loyal fans who go to every game home and away will not neccessarily be treated as such by the club, though think they are doing their best now. These issues have come up before. Wish you well in getting tickets you want but think fans have to have a degree of understanding and acceptance for first few years, perhaps the club itself can have too !

well said, such a poor idea from the club it is ridiculous

And had they not included this there would be tales from people who have family members they want to sit with, wondering how they can get to sit together? Give up the priority they earned by loyally sticking by the albion and possibly have these dedicated supporters miss out on falmer? Doesn't the club want to attract new fans? My son is just turning a suitable age for going to the football, is the club trying to turn away a potential new fan for life? My brother would have been a season ticket holder for 10 years, but had to miss three years while he was at uni, he would have been with me, we have sat together in all the other seasons, including the last 5. My wife only started coming 7 years ago, and we want to sit together, I don't want to lose out on my priority and risk missing out on a seat altogether, why is the club not thinking about people like me?

And so on.

The club will be slated by people whatever they do, but it isn't such a ridiculous plan. As I gather from insider's comments on the ATC section, the idea is for the above reasons. They are hoping fans don't abuse the system, but that they understand there are groups who sit together, and in that group one or two may be priority one, and they can use their +3s to bring the whole group up (i.e. many of the +3 would be current season ticket holders, or ones who have been STH in the past). For example, if it works as intended, 1000 priority 1s use a +1 for another season ticket holder, it means there will be 1000 less priority 4s.

They cannot cater for absolutely everybody. Whatever they do, there will be a small group who feel hard done by who will complain.

"Leftovers"? "The places nobody else wants to sit."?

Now everything is getting out of proportion. Do people in C, B or even A block at Withdean feel like this? No. And at Falmer the view will be 10 x better.

QUOTE]

not sure what you mean but if a batch of seats became available in the North Stand centre block at Withdean, I expect those who have been STH in A Block for 9 years would expect to be offered them ahead of the "friends" of those STH in the North Stand.

You'll be able to get a ST with no problems.

As for the 3 friends thing-it won't use up more than a couple of thousand seats if the current STH take up of 1901 club seats is to be believed, and they'll be spread all over the place. Not everybody is going to take up the 3 friends options either-in fact, I'll bet that the majority don't.

I hope that all those who are so quick and so loud in moaning about how poorly they are being treated BEFORE they see what will be on offer will be as quick and as vociferous to say they were wrong when they find there are enough good quality seats to meet their needs. I think this "good fan/bad fan" divide being created by those who have a recognised priority against every other supporter of the club is frankly shameful. Hang your heads.

Let's not forget, half of the people who would be priority 1 have probably got 1901 already.

Maybe less than half. Priority 1 is minimum 9 years continuous STH at Withdean. At one point didn't we only have around 2500 STH's right in the middle of our Withdean years and as you've said, loads of those people have already taken up 1901 options? I bet there's less than a thousand Priority 1 who aren't 1901ers.

I don't think the club would be stupid enough to implement something that will piss off thousands at the exact time they are looking to fill the stadium.

OK, you've made your point, which is that you prefer to close the stable door AFTER the horse has bolted.

I prefer to examine all ways of closing the stable door BEFORE the horse has bolted.

Could you give your reasons for why you think the club has a differing price structure throughout the ground......but in particular in the West Stand (excluding the 1901 Club)...?
