Download Sky Player to your computer. Its on offer at £20 a month for 3 months (no further contract)

You can set it up on up to four home computers. Ive got it until January so I can see the rugby too (as well as Southampton away)

Been using it for a while-its a god send.

sounds good.

I've just got Sky Sports for my HTC Desire. OK, the screen is a small but for £6 a month it's got to be worth a go.

do the computers need to be in the same house or can they be spread?

How can I watch?

On registered devices
With Sky Player you can watch TV from Sky on up to 4 computers and 1 other device.
Sky Player device registration takes place automatically when you first watch programmes, or when you sign in on Xbox or Sky Player Software.
You can only watch Sky Movies and Sky1 programmes on your Xbox 360 and main registered computer.
You can only watch TV with Sky Player on one device per household at any one time. Viewers must be entitled subscribers or members of their household – abuse could result in the suspension of viewing rights.

Is it still a free services for sky customers with multi-room?

If so, have a chat with a mate who has got multi-room, but no plans to use the skyplayer. Download skyplayer to your PC, enter his/her account details and you're away - for free!

I only ordered it yesterday and have been given a WAP link to get it set up. I plan on doing so this lunchtime so I'll let you know if it can be done.

OK, you were right but if you are with Orange they will give you a mobileTV web link which allows you to stream live TV for whatever channels you've subscribed.

My Orange subscription was £6 a month, and I'll be using it to watch the England v NZ match tomorrow. Marvellous.

Also, Sky Player is available on Xbox, which means you can take advantage if your TV screen is bigger than your laptop one (which it probably will be).
