Be counter attacking football at its best on saturday. If Carlisle commit too many men forward Kaz and the rest will just be too quick out the blocks for the scots to cope with.

I think they may either underestimate or be worried. Its gonna be a gud un!

Why do people see playing 1 striker as negative?!?!?!?!?

Playing Murray alone up front frees up Lua Lua, Bennett and Sparrow to attack at will.

I would play effectively a 4-2-3-1

Dicker and Kish holding. Lua Lua and Bennett out wide and Sparrow through the centre just behind Murray. That team would beat anyone in League One.

Sparrow was OUTSTANDING in that position against Swindon, so I am unsure why people are so loathe to see him there again.

I'd change the team because I don;t think Barnes contributed enough on Saturday (I know we won!). Having four in midfield meant that Bennett wasn't able to exploit the width and in the first half we we funnelled into the middle and MK Dons handled it well.

However, Gus seems to like having Bennett as a midfielder with the right to move around - left, right or down the middle - and have Barnes dropping back to cover. Bennett had a brilliant game and dictated a lot of the play on Saturday, so it's safe to assume Gus will go 4-42 initially.

I doubt Gus will change the team for the Carlisle game... doesn't he have a 'play well, keep the shirt' policy? They all did well Sat IMHO... now, judging by the Argus, the Plymouth game will be different with a bit of rotation (not a lot)...

I'd go with the 4-5-1 option as I think with our wingers and Carlisle's (supposed) midfield diamond it could be a recipe for success. I also think El-Abd deserves to keep his place. With that in mind:

---------------------Ankergren---------------------

----Calderon-----Elphick-----El-Abd------Painter----

-----------------Kishishev---Dicker-----------------

---Bennett------------Sparrow------------LuaLua---

-----------------------Murray----------------------

SUBS:

Brezovan
Greer
Bridcutt
Smith
Hart
Barnes
Sandaza

If it were a home game I would have Baz instead of Hart but if we're 1-0 up away with ten minutes left Hart is always a good option as his work rate will put the opposition under pressure.
