The Greeks are mental for football. That is all. As single people, they are the best in the world, as a group they are discusting.

Although, in the first sentance I wrote, take out the 'for football' part.

Couldn't see this mentioned on here. Dundee have had their Europa league game switched for the 2nd time. Apparently was switched as AEK had recently relaid their pitch, so it was switched to AEKs local rivals Panionios. The Panionios fans were so angry that they broke in to their own stadium, dug up the pitch with spades and generally just wrecked the joint.

A pedant writes. Dundee went out of the Scottish League Cup to Brechin on Tuesday and are due to play Falkirk this weekend. They're not playing in Greece this week.

Dundee United have been treated very badly. Getting to the stage where they should be getting a bye into the next round.

Obviously missed a very important UTD !!

On another note, this is a 100% true story ...last week my 6 year old son asked me why Scottish footballers wore a Mickey Mouse costume. I couldn't fathom out what the hell he was on about, you never know what goes on in a 6 year olds mind - he once asked me why Palace fans don't go to heaven. I finally got to the bottom of it though, it appears his grandad had told him that Scottish football was Mickey Mouse ... did chuckle when I found out.

In much the same way that Equestrian Pippa Funnel was always referred-to as Phillippa during the Athens Olympics. 'Pippa' has a very different meaning in Greek slang.

Well, come on then....... Spill the beans!
