It was in the 60s but I havent been in there since but must try iut again when in Worthing.

What about The Egremont, where you got the lining out of your fag pack and made a soggy dart that stuck to the ceiling?

Or the Thieves Kitchen, who instigated many a local band, and other pubs to have live music

The Wheatsheaf is by far the best pub in Worthing, but agree the Hare and Hounds is top notch too

Used to be good food but not now imo.

I like the Egremont, it is what it is, although haven't been in there for a while. The Hare and Hounds serve really horrible red wine and believe me, I'm not that fussy.
