That is one of the best thread titles I've ever seen - great effort! :)

I did say one of the best - nothing will beat 1066's 'I need to f*** some gash tonight'...

Actually they take me right back to the 1970s. The continental European (i.e. non-British) crowds used to LOVE klaxons and air horns. One of my abiding memories of watching European highlights on 'Sportsnight' is the uniform din that all foreign crowds seemed to make.

EDIT: Also I'd seen the word 'Vuvuzela' before I found out what it was - At first I thought it was a stomach complaint.

A good shout but we will always look back fondly on D. Seagulls 'My bumhole is inside out."

I do like some of the noises you get particularly from Spanish and Italian crowds... it is very different from the typical UK soundtrack.

However, the boorish honking racket from the vuvuzelas is something else... it will drive me nuts if the England warm-up game is anything to go by.

What will be the reaction of the stewards if someone brings one back from SA and blows it at the atmosphere free zone in Withdean?

I hope they would confiscate them at the turnstiles as offensive, and melt them down to make ponchos for the away fans.
