To actually answer the question, the Lib Dems are still the 3rd party so sit in a section next to the Opposition bench, even though there is a coaltion.

Sorry... that is not correct. They sit on the government benches. Mostly on Dave C's right just below the aisle.

However, Nick Clegg was sitting next to Dave C throughout... between him and William Hague.

The main camera angle, amusingly, obliterates him when anyone, especialy DC, is at the despatch box.
