Greek jokes.

What do you call an Athenian with a tampax on his head?.. Absorba the Greek.
Did you hear about the Greek boy who left home because he didn't like the way he was being reared but returned home a few days later because he couldn't leave his brothers behind.

This is terrible, the tax evaders and bribe takers have ruined their country. Now it looks like they have a very big problem.

That is every Greek person.

This is just something they do. Its part of their democracy. Remember the kid that got shot last year? Same thing.

I got caught up in riots and protests on numerous occasions in Ecuador. A couple of friends and I got tear gassed. I had some brilliant photos developed of police brutality and things being hurled about, cars being up turned, but had my bag stolen towards the end of my stay. :tantrum:

It's like all these things...no matter what the intentions of the main body of protestors, they always get hijacked by people who just want to smash everything up, for the sake of it.

and if they get the 100 billion loan, how long before thet default ?

No problem for the EC - the hole in their accounting is bigger than that. Or so we believe..... as its never passed auditing.

It was being discussed on radio over here in Melbourne quite a bit.

Melbourne has the second largest Greek population outside of Athens.

And the general theme of calls coming in from ex pat Greeks was that the Greeks in Oz work hard (which shows in that they are as a group not bad off financially compared to others), where as in Greece they are all lazy turds who want everything for nothing.
