In all fairness mate, we're fighting for nothing for the first time in like 8 seasons....so its not like a must-win game like last seasons last few games.

You may be right or you may be wrong but you do seem to love to be negative.
Not long ago you were glorying in when we would drop into the bottom 4, now we are playing meaningless mid table games with Holroyd.

Holroyd spent the whole game on the shoulder of the defender waiting to be released but nobody was prepared to make the incisive pass he needed. I'm not his biggest fan and I think he'd make a better winger than striker but thought he wasn't helped by the rest of the team

Finally, I was getting really aggravated by the bloke in front screaming abuse at some chap called 'Holdroyd'... Very irritating.

Noticed at the last game at Withdean he spent his whole time on the pitch pointing at the ground where he wanted the ball put. Nobody paid a blind bit of notice.

Stupid comment, Holroyd has the potential the be a very good player. His movement off the ball is fantastic, but our players never pick him out. Holroyd plays on the last defender, which in a 4-5-1 formation is very difficult to do. I'm sure had we not had Arisemendi sent off, Gus would have brought Barnes on up top with Holroyd, and we might have seen a different result.

Sorry but that's rubbish. If Holroyd has the necessary hunger to succeed, he has to carve things out for himself, make things happen. Sadly he never shows that hunger but is happy to scamper alongside the play in a non-threatening way. That's no use to us.

He's young, quick and very scrawny, he's not going to out muscle defenders etc, so he has to play on the last defender, and receive either balls over the top or through balls. Today he got absolutely no service whatsoever, despite making all the right runs off the ball.
