Iphone screen issue

I bought me a new iphone 3gs yesterday, and there is an issue with viewing images on the screen! Every picture or video looks like a negative you get with processed photos! When I take pictures with the iphone camera, and upload them, they are fine, but viewing them on the screen has the negatives problem

I've done a hard reset, I've tried turning the brightness up/down, and also the auto brightness on/off, but still the problem remains. The software is the latest version, so it's not that either

Any ideas please? It's an awesome phone aside from that one problem! I don't take many pictures with my phone camera, but I would like to be able to when i want to, and I'd also like to be able to watch videos when I want to an all

You haven't got the White on Black option on, have you ? It's in Settings > General > Accessibility.

Thank you! I've just switched it back to black on white and it's sorted! I spent hours searching for a solution online, and nobody mentions that being the problem!
