Can't really call them The Eagles as their soaring days are over. I would suggest 'The Squatters' as it's a very accurate description.

Yes, Orpington, the land time forgot (and wasn't very worried about it).

OY thats a bit harsh about dear old Orpington, Its only cos its close to St Mary Cray but don't fear old seaweed's thats where we keep the Charlton fans (and where Lancing goes on holiday)

Sainsbury's (Croydon) FC

or, Crystal Palace (Crawley Franchise) FC?

Or maybe we should wait until we actually move into Falmer before going on?

Ramsden Estate ?

You seem well informed about Orpington, mind you a well informed seaweed generally means able to tie his shoelaces

OK Orpington is not fab but it might not suit all you seaweeds as you are more used to Gaywards Heath etc etc

OK teasing aside you make some good points about Selhurst to be honest you have been in the same boat and can see where this is leading if it all goes pear shaped
I can remember when the Whitehorse was a real size before it got sold to sainsburys and house builders (greedy chairmen eh)
Personally as a Londoner I am pretty pissed off with paying for the poxy olympics for the privelidge of building West Ham a new ground (allegedly) when Bromley council won't even let us think about the National sports centre
For Brighton your torment could be coming to an end with Falmer, as for us well it ain't looking too good

How about the Smeagols? It rhymes and from my experience there is often a close resemblance - probably due to inbreeding.

Actually that thing bears more than a passing resemblance to good old Lancing bha on a night out in Brighton on the pull
