Quick Question about Archer......

After hearing from a previous thread that we were close to administration before Archer bought us for £50-odd. Did he really "save" the club or is this just a sarcastic remark to the living and breathing bastard?

It's sarcastic. Admin would have done us more good than he did. He saw an opportunity and wasn't prepared to provide the 'investment' or guarantees within the existing structure so bought into a new structure when he'd scuppered the other working alternative (administration) and left us facing being wound up.

It's like being strangled underwater and the assailant fights off your rescuers. When he lets go just seconds from your demise does that mean he saved you?
