I am allowed back to watch football again next season after a 3 year banning order, after a slight drunken moment. I'm getting quite excited...am I mad?

3 years, hmm. When you say 'slight' what do you mean?....

This thread has the potential to be an absolute classic. Shame it got started at such an hour.

I reckon he got banned for throwing a burger at McGhee during the 5-1 defeat to Stoke. Obviously, it took the courts a long time to get the banning order sorted out because they weren't sure whether a crime had been committed or not, considering the performance.

I've never got these bans... How are they enforced? Surely if I get a mate to buy me a ticket to a Brighton match, assuming i'm banned, ill be able to get in without an issue, so how do they enforce them? Hope they catch you on the CCTV during the game?

I'm intrigued by this 'drunken moment'. Must have been bad for a 3 year ban, you didn't get your cock out in front of Gully's girls?

I always thought if you break a banning order then the OB come down on you like a ton of bricks? Prison is even a possibility such is the seriousness of it.:(

Of course you're not mad, welcome back to the rollercoaster ride that is Brighton & Hove Albion. At least you've been able to watch soccer on the box while you've been absent, I think I would go crazy without my weekly fix of Richard and the boys at the weekend.

I think that is about all they can hope for, there used to be rumours of photos being put on the turnstiles but there have been far too many of these banning orders for that to be possible.

I was banned for a while and went in the North Stand at the Goldstone, after about 20 minutes a row of coppers came along the touchline looking up in my general direction, then a load more came down the side of where i was standing, at which point i was shitting it, they grabbed a guy standing just along from me

Ahh that makes more sense, but still they must only start doing that for quite severe offences
